Remember those controversial ads we saw in Style at Home and Canada House & Home (and other newspapers and magazines) earlier this year? The one where the Tassimo coffee maker ad was laid on top of an editorial spread and the one where a Swiffer mop was cleaning the same mess that appeared on an editorial page? The ads that clearly violate the ad-editorial guidelines set by the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors and Magazines Canada in 2007? The ones produced by the Starcom MediaVest Group agency? They've been nominated in the New York-based 2009 Creative Media Awards.
