COPAs to Chronicle the Covid-19 Pandemic
 

The COPAs this year has an unique opportunity to chronicle a moment in history with the Awards program. The Covid-19 News category, that is free to enter, will be the vehicle to chronicle this moment is history for students and historians. All the entries will be published on the COPA website and archived for the world to see. Each publisher can enter one free entry, but can submit additional entries if they wish with a paid ones.

 

The COPAs have released the 2020 Judging panel that will consist of 80+ industry experts from across Canada. Business Wire has also stepped up to sponsor the event this year. The COPAs is looking for more sponsors as the COPAS does not receive any government funding. One of the new  judges, Pepper Par, publisher of the Burlington Gazette, provides a quote in his bio that can be considered inspiration for the industry. Judges Page

The Early bird deadline for entries is August 14, that provides a reduced cost of $50 per entry with the entry deadline of September 30, 2020. All entries must be published between October 1, 2029 and September 30, 2020 to be eligible. Entry Page
