Cosmetics magazine gets a makeover, new editor
Rogers Media's Cosmetics magazine has unveiled a new look for its Spring 2015 issue. A relaunch of its industry e-newsletter, and a website overhaul is also in the works.

Founded in 1972, the publication reports on the biggest product launches, trends and business insights in the beauty industry, and hosts two major industry events annually: the COSAs (Cosmetics Outstanding Service Awards); and the Canadian Fragrance Awards.

"The issue will reveal our polished new look; our revamped content architecture; and our renewed editorial mission to provide timely, rich content on the beauty business for all industry insiders," editor Wing Sze Tang said.

Tang joined the publication in November after spending nearly five years at sister publication FLARE magazine—most recently as acting beauty director.

The magazine's visual reinvention was driven by art director Philina Chan and associate art director Brian Anson Wong, who hold the same roles at FLARE. Both Chan and Wong are new to Cosmetics.

Cosmetics magazine is published four times a year (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) in English and French (Cosmétiques) and is available in a digital and print edition.  The latest issue is currently downloadable for free on iTunes.
