Garden Making's Fox elected chair of Magazines Canada
Magazines Canada held its annual meeting today at MagNet, and members elected Michael Fox as chair of the association's board. He will hold the position for the next two years.

Fox is publisher and chief executive officer of Inspiring Media's Garden Making mag. He's been rolling up his sleeves in the world of circulation for more than 30 years, including a role as senior vice president of circulation and development at Rogers Publishing which he retired from in 2012.

Fox has previously been a director and a treasurer on Magazines Canada's board, and the association credits him with championing the development of the group's annual co-operative direct marketing subscription campaign. In 2005, he received the Magazines Canada Volunteer of the Year award, and in 2002 was recognized as the Circulation Management Association of Canada's Magazine Marketer of the Year.
