Vogues given in to internet

Vogue has given in to the internet and changed its Kamala Harris cover.
The fashion bible caused quite the internet dust-up when it published a cover portrait of the then-vice president-elect in casual jeans and converse sneakers. Sources from the Harris team were said to be blindsided by the choice, claiming Vogue had agreed to use a more formal image of the first female vice president in a corporate-chic powder blue suit. Vogue had released that image as a digital cover.

The internet griped loudly with its own objections that the cover was not suitably respectful or dignified for a vice president.
Earlier this week Vogue capitulated and reversed its decision. A new print cover, “In recognition of the enormous interest in the digital cover, and in celebration of this historic moment, we will be publishing a limited number of special edition inaugural issues,” the title confirmed to Page Six.
