Rogers Publishing Ltd. has expanded its b-to-b magazine portofolio with the acquisition of Employee Benefit News Canada from New York-based SourceMedia. Rogers already publishes Benefits Canada, Avantages and Working Well, which are all aimed executives and management handling pensions and benefits.

Rogers will publish the magazine on a bimonthly schedule.
“The benefits and pension industry is evolving and we are well-positioned to evolve along side it," stated says John Milne, senior vice president of the business & professional publishing group at Rogers. "This acquisition will help us broaden our scope and better serve readers with responsibilities across North America.”

Rogers says it will re-position Employee Benefit News Canada as a cross-border edition of Benefits Canada.
"Beginning this fall, it will be published six times per year and mailed separately to decision-makers in both Canada and United States. This new edition will have a unique look and feel and will provide decision-makers who have cross-border responsibilities with unique, relevant and timely content."
Along with the magazine, Rogers has also acquired the Canada Benefits Summit and will host the 3rd annual event next spring.
