For the second time, Ellen Kral, CEO of Kenilworth Media Inc., has been named one of Canada's Top Women Entrepreneurs 2012 by Profit and Chatelaine magazines.
"It is a privilege to be included among the ranks of these highly successful and accomplished women. It is in part thanks to the great team with which I have surrounded myself that makes this honour possible," Kral said in a statement on Kenilworth's website. "Kenilworth's success can be attributed to our commitment to excellence in producing a quality product that resonates with our readers and advertising clients."
Kenilworth, based in Richmond Hill, ON, produces B2B titles and consumer publications.
Produced by Profit and Chatelaine, the 14th annual W100 ranking of Canada's Top Female Entrepreneurs celebrates the achievements of female entrepreneurs and "their important contributions to the Canadian economy."
Entrants are ranked by a combination of the size, growth rate, and profitability of their business.
"The women of the W100 offer 100 shining examples of Canadian entrepreneurship," noted Ian Portsmouth, publisher and editor-in-chief of Profit. "They have achieved their elite status by creating valued products and services, applying deft management skills, and exercising the determination required to succeed in today's business environment."
W100 is published in the November issues of Profit and Chatelaine and online at PROFITguide.com and chatelaine.com.

Its a shame however to see what this forum has been reduced to thanks in part to respondents sense of empowerment through their anonymity. I guess pity you can get for free while envy you have to work hard for. Instead of celebrating the recognition and achievements of one of our very own; a female entrepreneur succeeding in what has otherwise been a male-dominated industry, this thread has once again been reduced to the same drivel which weve unfortunately become accustomed to. Masthead: Its about time that we make respondents accountable for their comments by having them log in. Lets stop this anonymous nonsense.
