NMAF and Indigo extend promotion of award winning magazines until November
 Yorkdale's display
The National Magazine Awards Foundation (NMAF) has launched a nationwide newsstand promotion with Indigo, to promote the country’s award winning publications. Since Sept. 22, the magazines eligible for the 37th annual NMAs have been displayed in 91 Indigo superstores across Canada.  The promotion was supposed to run until Oct. 18, but has since been extended to Nov. 2.

With the promotion, the NMAF aims to increase single copy sales through a group marketing effort. “We are optimistic about the results,” NMA communications manager Émilie Pontbriand said. “However it is too early at this time to determine if copy sales have increased."

Each Indigo location will display the magazines with special NMAF signage, maximizing their impact on the newsstand.

The Magazines included in this campaign are: Magazine of the Year winner Cottage Life, award winners Azure, Chatelaine, ELLE Canada, FASHION Magazine, fshnunlimited (f.u.), Little Brother, Maclean's, Prefix Photo, Sharp, Sportsnet, The Walrus, This Magazine, Toronto Life, and the United Church Observer.

The 37th annual National Magazine Awards took place on June 6, 2014.
