PMB spring data has Reader's Digest on top
The Print Measurement Bureau (PMB) released its 2013 Spring study data, showing Reader's Digest holding on to the lead with the country's highest readership. 

The total readership for Reader's Digest figured at 5,215,000, with 8.3 readers per copy (RPC). Canadian Living followed with 3,832,000 readers (7.4 RPC), and Canadian Geographic rounded out the top three with a readership of 3,644,000 (19.2 RPC). Also in the top five were What's Cooking (3,583,000, 3.5 RPC) and People (3,324,000, 21.7 RPC).

To compare, the top mags last year during the same period were Reader's Digest (5,340,000), Canadian Living (3,892,000), Canadian Geographic (3,450,000), People (3,402,000), and What's Cooking (3,332,000).

This year's top French magazines were Coup de pouce (5.2 RPC) and Touring - Fre & Eng (1.4 RPC), both with 1,139,000 readers. Other top scorers were Qu'est-ce qui mijote at 1,199,000 (2.5 RPC), and L'actualité with 1,057,000 (6.5 RPC).

The highest score in terms of readers per copy was Canada's History with 23 RPC, up from 13.7 last year. Outdoor Canada garnered 22.5 RPC, The Hockey News Magazine had 22.3 RPC, People had 21.7 RPC, and Canadian Geographic and Dernière heure tied with 19.2 RPC, to make up the top five.

According to the bureau, the study was based on a national stratified sample of approximately 22,000 Canadians measuring over 103 publications.
