Annex Business Media has appointed Scott Jamieson as chief operating officer (COO). Reporting to president and CEO Mike Fredericks, Jamieson will work with the executive team as Annex continues to expand into new business areas and opportunities. Jamieson has extensive media experience, starting his career as an editor in Southam’s forestry group in Montreal, followed by just over a decade as an independent publisher of three forestry publications. He joined Annex through acquisition in 2004,  most recently helping to build out the event business and consolidate the audience department. Jamieson has been involved in three successful magazine launches in his career, two at Annex.
