Beth Thompson has been named editor-in-chief of Rogers Media's Canadian Health & Lifestyle magazine.

Thompson has previously worked as editor-in-chief at Glow, Healthy Woman and Arthritis Today, and was recently beauty editor at More magazine until the TC Media property ceased publication in January. Her editorial experience also includes tenures at Living Spree, Zellers Family, and Today's Grandparent.

Her work as a writer focuses on women and families, including two books, the non-fiction Kidfluence: Why Kids Today Mean Business, and a novel, The Happines of Truth, plus freelance contributions to mags like Today's Parent and Chatelaine.
